It’s the weekend and I am very much one for lazy Sunday mornings sitting in PJs. Sadly, that now involves getting up at 7am (although the kind husband normally lets me lie in till 8 30) and being subjected to numerous episodes of My Little Pony/Paw Patrol. So as I’m thinking about sitting around in said nightwear it seemed only fitting to share some of our favourite kids Christmas Pyjamas with you.
I’m not sure how many of you do the Christmas PJ thing but it’s slowly creeping in to our house. Last year the pyjama’s got left by the elves the week before Christmas. I know a few people do this Christmas Eve but I figured they probably should get a couple of wears out of the festive patterns before the big day. Sadly it all went a bit wrong and the beautiful Boden Christmas mice pairs I’d bought were so super skinny I couldn’t get them up Alice’s legs! Cue a hasty trip to Mothercare and their Christmas PJs of choice were some rather bright Little Bird one’s with gnomes and unicorns!!
Anyway, on to the pyjamas. Pre warning, there may be reindeers and penguins but, heck, it’s Christmas. You may need to be quick as they all seem to sell out pretty fast in the next few weeks.
John Lewis
I wish the girls would still fit in the baby ranges at John Lewis, they are so cute. These super sweet mice pyjamas remind me of the much coveted Boden one’s that wouldn’t fit and are available up to age 2-3.
If your little one’s are entranced by the trampolining animals in the JL Christmas ad then these Buster the Boxer ones are set to be a winner and are available from age 2 to 13.
I’m also very much liking this animal set complete with Walrus’ and Polar bears.
Sainsburys
This sweet Snowman set comes with a cute fleecy top that would be perfect for snuggling in come Christmas morning.
I love a bit of tartan for Christmas and these bear PJs are very apt with their ‘bearly slept a wink’ slogan.
Marks & Spencer
Every Christmas my nan would buy us a new pair of pyjamas and always from M&S. My favourite ever pair were some Disney Little Mermaid one’s that had a shiny mermaid tail. I adored them.
M&S are still one of my go to’s for nightwear for me and the girls and this winter these traditional style penguin pjs are some of my absolute favourites. Do you think I can fit in to an age 16?
In fairness Molly would probably adore this elf pair. Not my choice but it has a green tutu attached which would sell it to her in seconds.
I often pick up the two packs in M&S and this one has a fun bear and fairisle print.
Cath Kidston
After spying these on our lovely Laura’s Instagram feed I was sold. There is something so utterly nostalgic about that beautiful print filled with robins, baubles and foliage,
The White Company
I am impressed with my organisational skills. Last year I purchased some pyjamas for the girls in the White Company sale so that I could put them away for Christmas this year. Sadly Molly has had more of a growth spurt than expected so she may be sporting pink and white spotty one’s instead of the planned reindeers but ho hum. Unless of course I purchase one of the pairs listed in this post….
For the littlest then these snowmen pyjamas are so cute. I love them.
With the frosty weather this week this sparkle snowflake pair are just perfect for cosying in front of the fire or I also love these cute robin print pair.
I had to include this polar bear pair as I adore the navy blue colour and white graphic print. They have sold out in some the older sizes but still up to 6 years available.
The Bright Company
You may have spied The Bright Company in your Instagram feed with their organic bold graphic Pyjama sets. The Christmas offering this year isn’t your traditional red and green but is one for you monochrome lovers. Even better they are available for the whole family so baby, big brother and mum and dad can all sport the same design if you want to be all out matchy matchy for opening your pressies.
Boden
After their recent discount weekend a lot has gone from Boden but these stripey pjs are a fun choice as are the deer print twin pack. Top tip on the slim long johns is to size up if you prefer a slightly less snug fit.
Gap
The offerings at Gap are seriously depleted after last weekends black Friday bonanza but if you are lucky you might be able to pick up a pair of these festive fairisle print or the classic check sets.
Mamas & Papas
Lolly purchased Hector these red check Pyjamas for his Christmas bedtime. Nothing cuter than a proper pair of pjs.
I am also loving the polar bear pair in the softest blues and greys and the sweet santa pair with their checked trousers.
Phew, I’m definitely ready for bed now after searching for all this lovely nightwear. I’m definitely hoping Father Christmas brings me some new nightwear. On that note if you fancy some nice new bedtime threads yourself then have a look at Rock My Styles loungewear round up.
Ahhhhh yes. Glad you embraced M & P Lolly!
We have last year’s festive offering from Gap which still fit. Similar to the checked kind from M & P. Not a fan of Gap’s traditional style offering this year as they are fleece not cotton.
Best find for us has been Primark. Picked up two pairs. A mint green polar bear number (polar bear print bottoms and a long sleeved T) which go great for blondies and were only £5 and then some red and navy tartan traditional ones with a long sleeved plain navy T for £4.
I really hate PJs with an elasticated bottom as ITCHY so tend not to put babies in them. Otherwise Next have some corkers in some lovely greens for girls.
This Christmas Eve the 6 week old and toddler have matching sets. After hunting high and low I found a good set on eBay (and also comes in adults sizes). Other option was these charity family matching PJs from Matalan (profits to Alder Hey Children’s hospital). Great cause.
