I am really not one for spending money just because there’s a sale on, in fact, I loathe the fact that we have added even more consumerist pressure to our daily lives by embracing an American tradition. BUT having said that, it’s certainly an effective way to save money if you’re buying things you need. We all know that kitting out the kids is an expensive business – so today we’re bringing you the RMF edit of the Black Friday sales, cutting out the cr*p and showing you bargains on things you may well be buying anyway…
For The Nursery
Zara Home have some gorgeous kids bedding at great prices – I particularly love this pink polka dot quilt, this star one and this multicoloured patchwork one too.
Mamas & Papa’s have also discounted some of their new arrival nursery collection – like this gorgeous Grey Striped Blanket and this lovely three piece furniture set.
For Travelling
Kiddicare have some serious discounts available – the Joie i-Anchor Advance Eclipse car seat, suitable from birth to approx. 4 years is currently just £175.00. They also have up to 40% off a whole host of pushchairs, strollers and travel systems.
This special edition Donna Wilson changing bag from Mamas & Papas is heavily reduced and let’s face it, anything that makes carting round nappies and changing stinky bums a bit more stylish is a welcome treat.
For Feeding & Care
Kiddicare also have a great discount on the Tommee Tippee essentials starter kit – even if you’re planning on breastfeeding, chances are you’ll still want to give your little one a bottle of expressed milk from time to time and this starter kit contains an electric steriliser as well as lots of bottles. They are also offering £5 off my favourite breastfeeding cushion – I’d highly recommend this one for comfortable feeding.
Clothing
RMF fave Boden currently have 30% off a huge number of items with the code F6P8, my favourite picks are these transitional items – this unisex Navy Fishermans Jacket (it’s 100% waterproof)! This Star Print Padded Jacket, which not only comes in three gorgeous colours, but also has detachable sleeves, so it can be worn as a gilet come Spring time. And this Breton Striped Knitted Jacket – because every baby needs a jacket with ears. It’s the law. Plus it’s the perfect thickness for layering.
Also – these Joules wellies in red and in navy are gorgeous and have great reviews.
Toys & Games
If your littles have been inspired this years John Lewis advert, then have a look at TP Trampolines, recommended by Lottie and her girls.
John Lewis has also got up to 50% off selected Toys and games so it’s worth taking a peek. Their country kitchen has 35% off and 50% off this great Playmobil pirate ship.
And finally, M&S have a 30% off a great selection of toys and books – with loads of lovely stocking fillers for all ages.
If you want to know the best offers on fashion and home then Rock My Style have put together a handy list for you. Have you picked up any great bargains this week?
Thank you thank you thank you RMF!!!! One highly coveted John Lewis kitchen bought for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. Wouldn’t have known about the discount without this article!! Thank you kindly x
[…] change. If you’re tired of succumbing to discounts you don’t really need, over on RMF today Fern rounds up the reductions on the products you’re probably already buying this season so do let us know your best […]
We’re absolutely making the most of any reductions on things we’ll need in February, thanks so much for the article! We’ve bought the Tommee Tippee Starter Kit but I think it might be even cheaper on Amazon at £44.99? I’m currently drooling over the Zara baby sale items – probably a good thing for the bank balance that we don’t know whether we’re having a girl or a boy! x
The wonderful Solly Baby have 20% off their beautiful wrap slings which takes care of the US shipping with the code JOLLY20. They are so beautiful and cleverly designed – I just bought one having spotted an American friend using one.
